David Arthur Brown was a co-founder of Trapeze School World Corp, a national chain of aerial arts schools. David oversaw operational procedures across six national locations, ensuring safety protocols, marketing strategies, and customer service excellence to drive profitability. David and his co-founding partner (Anne Barbara Brown) liaised with vendors, landlords, and regulatory bodies to negotiate business development terms, manage social media campaigns, and orchestrate financial operations including bookkeeping, forecasting, and tax preparation. Additionally, David cultivated community and personal achievement within the trapeze school environment through direct instruction and engagement.

David holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biological Oceanography & Marine Toxicology from the University of British Columbia. He retired from science following a career in research and development, directing Clinical Evaluation and Cell Biology departments at Avon Products, directing research on DNA repair at AGI Dermatics, exploring in vivo gene regulation at the Scripps Research Institute and directing environmental research at the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project.

David is now an active participant in Hyrox fitness competitions, and is currently the North American age group champion.
